Rachel has over 15 years experience working within government, managing portfolios such as innovation, clinical skills training, health, research, and social insurance. She has worked in Europe and Asia, and has post graduate qualifications in health and business.
Rachel is currently Manager, International Engagement with the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, where her responsibilities include the provision of advice around Victorian Government engagement with India. In 2017, Rachel will lead the development of a Victorian Government strategy for engaging with India.
Previously, Rachel was Manager, International Health at the Department of Health and Human Services, where she led the development of Victoria’s International Health Strategy 2016-20, and was responsible for Victorian Government engagement on health and medical research.
Rachel is passionate about social policy, health system design and delivery, and innovation in public services, with a particular interest in the application of collaborative commerce principles to public service delivery.
