Arvind Dixit

Arvind is a Senior Associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology group of national law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth, advising on the corporate and commercial aspects of technology contracting, protection of intellectual property rights, internet law, and telecommunications law.

Arvind convenes Corrs India Country Focus Group which is focused on shaping the firm’s interaction and strategic engagement with India. He advises a number of India’s largest technology companies on their Australian operations and is also an active participant in the firm’s pro bono practice, including having advised on the establishment of the Good Friday Appeal Run for the Kids event, and providing ongoing legal support since its inception in 2006.

With parents of Indian descent, Arvind maintains a deep cultural connection with India, and has traveled extensively around the country. He has a strong interest in the issues impacting the relationship between Australia and India, and he was a management committee member, and former Secretary, of the Victorian Chapter of the Australia India Business Council for 5 years until 2013.
Arvind loves the outdoors and enjoys spending his spare time playing cricket, trying to catch snapper in Port Phillip Bay (usually unsuccessfully), or in the veggie garden with his young daughter.
