Delnaaz Irani
Del Irani is currently a Presenter on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News. She is the co-creator and Presenter/Producer of an issues-based talk show, called #TalkAboutIt. Del presents the program from various international locations including Melbourne, Sydney, Mumbai, Jakarta and interviews people across the globe from Delhi and Beijing to Tokyo and Myanmar. Due to popular demand, the show was extended into its fourth season and as of July 2014, has been commissioned on a long-term basis for ABC News’ national 24-hour news channel as well as their international service AustraliaPlus.
Del is a former BBC World News Presenter and Correspondent. She was  the Presenter of India Business Report on BBC World News, which  broadcasts weekly to more than 77 million viewers worldwide. She was  also the Mumbai Correspondent for BBC World News and covered the trial  of the lone surviving gunman in the 2008 Mumbai Terror attacks among  other breaking news stories.
 In 2014, Del was invited to moderate a few United Nations’ conferences  on youth employment in Bangkok. In 2013, she was the only Australian  journalist to win a Jefferson Fellowship and visited the East West  Centre in Hawaii as well as Tokyo, Beijing and Yangon, along with 14  other journalists from Asia-pacific. Del has lived and worked in the  Middle-East, Asia, Europe, Central America & Caribbean. She is an  Australian citizen with Indian & Iranian heritage and speaks  English, Hindi and Gujarati.
