Nazia Izuddin

Nazia Yusuf Izuddin is a lawyer, writer, social entrepreneur, restaurateur, political commentator and communications specialist hailing from Kerala and now living in Delhi and Dehradun. She is a graduate in law from Harvard Law School, a Fulbright Scholar, a Canada World Youth Scholar and a Gold medalist from Aligarh Muslim University. She is the first woman to have been appointed as the Secretary of the Literary Club of Aligarh Muslim University. Prior to moving to India, she worked as a corporate lawyer in New York, Dubai and London and settled as an entrepreneur in Dehradun, Uttarakhand in the year 2008.
She co-founded the World Integrity Centre in Dehradun, India’s only privately established socio-cultural community and lifestyle centre, which now has grown to be an iconic national institution.
As the Founding President, she has introduced several prestigious social, art and cultural programs to the State of Uttarakhand. She is the founder of the Dehradun Community Literature Festival, which has completed 3 successful editions and is onto its fourth edition. She is the owner and mentor of the football team Dehradun Capital Rangers.
She is the incoming Chairperson of FICCI FLO Uttarakhand and Vice President of theAll India Professional’s Congress Uttarakhand.
For her contribution to the society through her various socio-cultural initiatives, she has been listed by Conde’ Nast Traveller as one among the 50 people you must know in the Himalayas. In 2017, she was awarded by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for her outstanding achievements as a woman entrepreneur.
