Mihir Sharma

Mihir Sharma is Senior Fellow and Head, Economy and Growth Programme, at the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi. He is also the India columnist for Bloomberg View and a member of the editorial board of the Business Standard newspaper. Mihir was trained as an economist and political scientist in Delhi and in Boston, and is the author of the book ‘Restart: The Last Chance for the Indian Economy’,in which he discusses the problems facing the Indian economy. He received the Sriram Sanlam Award for financial journalism. ‘Restart’ received critical acclaim and won the Tata LitLive best Business Book of the Year and was long-listed for the Financial Times–McKinsey Business Book of the Year.
