Neha Sinha

Neha Sinha is a conservation biologist and heads Conservation and Policy at the Bombay Natural History Society. She has been part of the highly successful community conservation initiative for Amur falcons in Nagaland and specializes in bird conservation. She has served as an expert member on Delhi government’s wetland committees, Central Zoo Authority’s Research and Publication expert committee and is a member of the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication and EBird India’s Sensitive Species Committee. She is a noted columnist and widely published as an environmental commentator.  Her critically acclaimed first book ‘Wild and Wilful’ was published in 2021 by HarperCollins India.  The book was a semifinalist in the international Siskiyou prize for New Environmental Literature. She was awarded the INLAKS scholarship to study conservation at Oxford University and is the recipient of the 2017 ‘Wildlife Service’ award by Sanctuary Asia foundation.
