Christian Jack

Christian Jack is a diplomat and policy adviser, with a decade of experience working across China, Southeast Asia and India.

He currently provides advice on foreign and economic policy issues relating to Australia’s engagement with South Asia at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He previously served as an adviser at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, where he worked on international policy relating to South and Southeast Asia.

In early 2024, Christian will take up a position as Deputy Consul-General at the Australian Consulate General in Mumbai.

Christian holds degrees in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Queensland and the Australian National University, and a MBA from the Copenhagen Business School.

He has attended the Asialink Leaders Program and the Australia-China Youth Dialogue.
