Shrivatsa Somany

Shrivatsa Somany, Business Head – Bathware, is a passionate individual with an affinity to build things from scratch and set up long-lasting success for the associated brand.

With an education in Computer Scientist, Shrivatsa believes in approach of understanding a problem, dividing it into its smallest indivisible parts and build up the solution from there. With this philosophy he started Caredose, a med-tech company where he co-invented 6 worldwide patents in technology. This tech was later sold to a chain of hospitals.

With deep start up experience, Shrivatsa is now helming the Bathware vertical at Somany Ceramics Ltd. This is an fast rising, yet fairly small business vertical for the company, and he felt that this is the right next chapter in his professional life. To add to, and learn from, a 50 year old brand.

Shrivatsa is an avid tech enthusiast with experience in IoT, 3D printing, automation, and a multitude of different tech related fields. Another passion he has is cars and racing, and he frequently attends competitive racing events in India.
