Roshan Gopalakrishna

Roshan is a lawyer qualified to practice in India with relevant work experience in the sports, media, technology, intellectual property rights and entertainment sectors. Currently, Roshan holds the position of Head – Legal & Business Affairs (CEO equivalent) at Copyright Integrity International (CII), a world leader in anti-piracy and rights protection services, currently protecting US$5 billion of commercial investment in cricket. At CII, Roshan leads a team of 40 legal and technical personnel that provides high quality rights protection and anti-piracy services to various stakeholders in cricket (including all ten test-playing nations) and general entertainment content. CII has been the International Cricket Council’s Rights Protection Partner since the ICC World Twenty20 2009.

In addition to the role at CII, Roshan is also a Senior Associate at The Law Offices of Nandan Kamath (LawNK), India’s premier sports and entertainment law practice. At LawNK, Roshan leads a team of 4 lawyers offering cutting edge legal services to prominent clients in the sports, media, entertainment, IP and IT sectors. In 2010, LawNK was appointed the official legal advisor to the ICC for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
