Eloise Dolan
Eloise is an investment advisor at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) working to attract foreign direct investment into Australia from Asia, across critical technologies and the circular economy.Prior to this, she was Strategic Advisor to Victoria’s Commissioner to Southeast Asia based in Singapore, where she also led the Government and Strategic Partnerships team for the Southeast Asia Victorian Government Trade and Investment (VGTI) office. Eloise was also Program Manager and Generation Asia Lead at Asia Society Australia for four years, where she coordinated the centre’s programming output, managed relationships with key Australian stakeholders engaging with the region and led the organisation’s emerging leadership strategic pillar comprising research, partnerships, programs, and the National Emerging Leaders Forum, founded by Eloise in 2020.Passionate about intercultural learning, global citizenship and youth advocacy, Eloise began her international career managing the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) and is currently a non-executive director on two global education non-profit boards; AFS Intercultural Programs and Soliya.Eloise was awarded the Tony Adams Rising Star Award in 2022 by the International Education Association of Australia and was listed as a 2021 Young Woman to Watch by Young Australians in International Affairs. She holds a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies, French) from the University of Western Australia.
