Lauren Paynter

Lauren Paynter is currently a Policy Officer in the India Branch at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Within DFAT, Lauren has experience working on South Asia issues, with previous roles in the Indian Ocean and South Asia Maritime Branch and serving overseas at Australia’s High Commission in Islamabad.

Prior to her work at DFAT, Lauren worked as a Government Lawyer at the Attorney-General’s Department. She graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
