Mark Tamsitt
Mark is a career diplomat at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). As a Director in DFAT’s India Branch, he leads a team who contributes to ties between Canberra and New Delhi on everything from sports and culture to foreign policy and migration.
With expertise in the Pacific, Mark has previously served at Australia’s High Commissions in New Zealand and Fiji.
Before joining DFAT, Mark worked at the Lowy Institute for International Policy in Sydney and served in the Australian Army, including on deployment in Solomon Islands.
Mark holds a Masters and Bachelors Degree from the University of Sydney.
