Ruchi believes the future must be human‑centred – one where education, technology, and global collaboration expand opportunity and put people first.

A multi‑award‑winning educational leader in Australia, Ruchi brings over 18 years of experience across engineering, human‑centred computing, and leading transformational education programs in Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Italy. Her work is shaped by a global, culturally-responsive perspective, connecting education with real‑world impact.

Ruchi’s PhD research focuses on the practical use of emerging technologies, including AI and Virtual Reality, in real‑world settings. Her goal is to prepare the next generation of technologists to design responsibly with empathy, inclusion and human values at the core.

Deeply committed to community impact, Ruchi is a co-founder of Active Allies, an initiative that fosters allyship and inclusion, and she regularly contributes to public discourse through media commentary and speaking engagements. Her involvement in community outreach, advisory roles, and advocacy for equity in STEM reflects her commitment to inclusive leadership, recognised with a Special Commendation at the Monash Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Awards for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion 2024.

As part of the Australia‑India Youth Dialogue, Ruchi is dedicated to strengthening connections between the two countries through meaningful dialogue and shared social impact.

Outside her professional work, Ruchi is an avid parkrun enthusiast, having completed runs across Europe, the Nordics, and Asia – an extension of her love for travel, community, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
