Simran Keshwani
Dr. Simran Keshwani is the National Program Coordinator for Global Politics, Business Studies, and Digital Literacies at the Australian Catholic University, where she leads curriculum strategy, academic coordination, and program development across multiple campuses. Her work focuses on strengthening the interface between higher education, industry, and policy by embedding digital literacies, AI governance, and applied global perspectives into business and political science programs.Her doctoral research at Macquarie University examined how the Indian state has shaped markets during periods of technological and energy transition, contributing to contemporary debates on industrial development in the Global South, with the rise of nuclear and renewable based energy being a key strategy for industrial upgrading; and the evolving landscape of geoeconomic competition. She was identified as an Emerging Leader in Indo–Australian relations by the U.S. Embassy in Melbourne in 2024 and was awarded the Euan Crone Asian Awareness Scholarship by the Australian Institute of International Affairs for advancing new perspectives on how the Indian state can be positioned within global economic governance.
