Yann Sinclair

Yann is a diplomat with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, working as Australia’s Vice-Consul in Western India. He advises on economic and foreign policy issues at the Australian Consulate-General in Mumbai, and has a decade of experience working across Southeast Asia and India. In India, Yann works to advance Australia’s interests across trade, investment, sports, and the creative industries, and leads on engagement with the state of Gujarat.Before taking up his overseas role, Yann worked for DFAT’s development economics and geostrategic policy areas. Yann holds a degree of politics and philosophy, and a Master of Economics from the University of Queensland.
