Tejas Nair
Tejas Nair, also known as Spryk, is a producer, performing artist, and cultural curator at the forefront of India’s digital arts and independent music landscape. Raised in India and shaped by formative years in Australia, his practice is rooted in a genuinely global perspective, one that stretches from Indian classical music traditions to cutting-edge generative AI research. As the curator and producer of EyeMyth, India’s pioneering media arts festival, he has spent over a decade building bridges between technology, visual art, and music, championing experimental and independent voices on a national and international stage.
As a producer and performer, Spryk has graced the stages of some of the world’s most celebrated festivals, including Lollapalooza, and built lasting brand partnerships with Absolut, Puma, Red Bull Music, Sennheiser, and more. His work spans film, media, advertising, festivals, gaming, and emerging technologies, collaborating with artists and institutions across geographies to push the boundaries of Indian creative practice. He is also a member of the Soho House committee, contributing to the curation of culture and community at one of the world’s most influential creative networks.
Beyond the stage and studio, Tejas is a recognised thought leader and advocate for India’s independent arts ecosystem. His curatorial work sits firmly in the space of cultural diplomacy, having built programmes connecting India with Australia, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, and beyond. He mentors emerging artists and speaks on the intersections of technology, culture, and creative practice. EyeMyth & skip-a-beat have grown into landmark platforms that place India’s media arts community in direct conversation with the world.
